Carolyn is a professional coach and consultant with a rich and diverse background of more than 30 years of experience in executive healthcare roles. Throughout her career, Carolyn has developed remarkable leaders using strategies she’s developed for enhanced achievement and personal fulfillment. Her extensive professional background and life experiences allow her a coaching style that is caring and non-judgmental.
Clients experience a comfortable, confidential coaching environment with Carolyn where they can share their stories, explore their deepest desires and purposefully create their best life. Carolyn has an established track record in professional and executive roles in for-profit, not-for-profit, and academic university medical corporations, as well as physician practice management services. She held varied executive positions during her career with the Louisiana State University Health Science Center, Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, Columbia/ HCA Healthcare System, and CHRISTUS Health. Most recently, Carolyn served as the Chief Operating Officer for CHRISTUS Health Northern Louisiana, a multi-campus hospital system. During the CHRISTUS Health Talent Management Executive Development Program, she experienced the privilege of working with an excellent executive coach. The success she experienced from this coaching relationship led Carolyn to her current passion for coaching others.
Carolyn completed the coaching certification program at the Hudson Institute of Santa Barbara, California and is certified by the International Coach Federation as an Associate Certified Coach. She earned an M.B.A. from Centenary College, a B.S. from Northwestern State University and advanced training at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Carolyn is also a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. She has served on many civic and philanthropic boards that help provide healthcare navigation services to needy families.
